We begin to pick up the pace a bit in the Junior Class. The children spend three years at this level: Two years studying the curriculum by James W. Beeke, Bible Doctrine for Younger Children (where they begin to look at the Bible systematically through the study of theology), and then a one-year study of the Old and New Testaments to make sure they are grounded not only in Bible doctrine, but in the Bible itself (i.e. characters, events, etc.). If you have a child enrolled in this class you may access weekly assignments and even download necessary handouts for this week by visiting our secure member’s area.

By the time children reach their teen years they are ready to jump with both feet into more abstract thinking about God, sin, temptation, good works, and true faith. These years are most crucial in preparing them for transitioning into adulthood and all the challenges that will soon present themselves. This class follows a four-year curriculum: Two years studying James W. Beeke’s, Bible Doctrine for Teens & Young Adults, and two years studying the Bible (one year for each of the Testaments). If you have a teen enrolled in this class you may access weekly assignments and even download necessary handouts for this week by visiting our secure member’s area.
